Sauced Crab Ball

Recipe can be made several days ahead and can easily be doubled. Serve with assorted crackers.

Cream cheese, softened 4 oz. 125 g

Canned crabmeat, drained, membrane removed, flaked 4 oz. 113 g

Lemon juice, fresh or bottled 1 tsp. 5 mL

Onion powder 1/4 tsp. 1 mL

Hot pepper sauce, just a dash

Seafood cocktail sauce 1/3 cup 75 mL

Beat cheese, crabmeat, lemon juice, onion powder and hot pepper sauce together‘well. Shape into ball.

Cover and chill.

Just before serving, pour seafood sauce over crab ball.

Addmore seafood sauce as needed.

Makes 1 small ball.
